Data We Don't Collect

CloudFix never has access to your AWS credentials. We use IAM role assumption (STS AssumeRole) rather than stored credentials, and the discovery role's permissions are read-oriented — its only writes are resource tagging, CloudWatch Logs, Athena queries, and SNS notifications.

⛔ No AWS Credentials

No secret keys, access keys, or passwords are ever stored or transmitted to CloudFix. Access is via IAM role assumption only.

⛔ No Bulk Data Access

CloudFix cannot read your secrets, Parameter Store values, log events, database items, queue messages, or snapshot contents. Analysis is based on resource metadata and cost data; a small number of finders require narrow, purpose-specific reads, granted only when that finder is enabled. See the permission model.

⛔ No PII from AWS

No personally identifiable information from your AWS accounts is collected. CloudFix reads infrastructure configuration, not user data.
